Born from the powerful collaboration of two distinguished artists, it unites creative vision with meticulous execution to offer a work of lasting elegance and precision. It is a conversation piece that carries the spirit of the Horse into the room: poised, dynamic and naturally captivating. Zino Davidoff, born under the sign of the Horse, understood this rhythm: the spark of individuality, the hunger for adventure, and the gift of turning a simple moment into a grand occasion.
Filled exclusively with Davidoff Year of the Horse cigars, specially created by Davidoff’s Master Blenders for this Masterpiece only. Each gran toro cigar is adorned with a beautiful second band in red with a green accent. The 88 cigars come arranged on a handy tray, which can be taken out of the humidor by its gold-plated handles.
The Year of the Horse gran toro cigar is composed of only proprietary hybrid seeds. It features Dominican vintage tobaccos in the filler which add complexity and smoothness to the 70 to 90 beautifully filled minutes.
This cigar opens with creamy milk chocolate and a touch of roasted nuts, offering a smooth and inviting start.
Through the middle, rich chocolate becomes more prominent, balanced by subtle acidity, floral hints, and a trace of spice. In the final third, roasted hazelnuts take the lead, joined by earthy tones and black pepper, with creaminess and cacao rounding out the finish. The combination of solid Spanish cedarwood and a mahogany tray ensures optimal air circulation and constant humidity distribution, supported by the highly precise MACHT humidification system.
