Starting this December 15th, thanks to the collaboration between Entre Humos and Scandinavian Tobacco Group, Entre Humos Palmas del Mar becomes the Caribbean’s first Club Macanudo, a milestone that reaffirms the growth of premium tobacco in Puerto Rico.
According to Cándido Alfonso, founding partner of the brand, this achievement would not have been possible without the support of the aficionado community on the Island of Enchantment, as well as everyone who has placed their trust in Entre Humos.
“We are ready for this new chapter and preparing for the soft opening. Today, the Club Macanudo Puerto Rico is a reality, and in 2026, we are going for much, much more.”
Club Macanudo was created in 1995 by Edgar M. Cullman Jr., CEO of Culbro Corp., the parent company of General Cigar. Located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side in New York, Cullman succeeded in creating “a place for cigars, where everything else is secondary.” The club opened its doors to the public on May 1, 1995, and today, Palmas del Mar, Puerto Rico, joins the exclusive clubs in Kuala Lumpur, Copenhagen, Jakarta, Taipei, and Bossier City.
