Gurkha: Cigars with History

This year, Gurkha’s new releases at the PCA Trade Show stand out for their sensory profiles and the symbolic weight behind their blends.

The first, Tres Décadas, is a cigar that commemorates the career of Juan López, a widely recognized figure among aficionados and industry members alike.

This Special Edition, limited to 1,000 boxes per vitola, features a Nicaraguan blend with a dark Habano wrapper. It is an elegant puro with a deeper profile, showcasing sweet notes and undertones of cocoa, according to some smokers.

The release also highlights the design work done alongside Raúl Flores, part of the marketing department, who helped transform Juan López’s vision into a presentation that projects exclusivity and collectibility.

The second release, the Nicaragua Cask Collection, is a Habano-wrapped line inspired by tobacco aging processes, added as a regular placement within the brand’s catalog. It maintains an all-Nicaraguan construction, but unlike Tres Décadas, it features a brighter profile.

It is presented in 20-count boxes and will be continuously available on the market.
