Rooted in the guiding principles of the León family –owners of the oldest tobacco company in the Dominican Republic– La Aurora reinforces its Family Creed line. Developed by master blender Manuel Inoa, this year’s release is Perseverancia, which follows 2025’s Fuerte Sol as part of a four-blend collection.
Manuel Inoa explained that Perseverancia was conceived for the demanding palates of those seeking a cigar with high strength and intense flavor. It features a US Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper, a Mexican San Andrés binder, and a filler composed of Nicaraguan, Dominican, and US tobaccos, achieving a balance and creaminess that invites you to keep smoking.
For La Aurora and its Master Blender, Family Creed represents the first time the company has worked with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper on a regular production cigar (Fuerte Sol), and now it incorporates that very same tobacco as a binder with excellent results. This opens up the possibility for further experimentation with Mexican tobacco.
