Marking its fourth appearance at the PCA Trade Show, Founders Cigars is celebrating its fifth anniversary and the United States’ 250 years as an independent nation with the launch of The Declaration, a Limited Edition blend.
Angelo Fraboni, co-founder of the brand, describes this Corona cigar (5.5 inches, 43 ring gauge), crafted with a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper and a Habano binder, as a full-bodied smoke. Only 250 boxes are available on the market of this “blend, as bold as the very document that granted us our freedom.”
Founders, a company created and operated by veterans, highly acknowledges the work of Operation: Cigars for Warriors, which was one of the first organizations to reach out to them for a collaboration when they launched. “Brian, my co-founder who couldn’t attend because he is currently stationed at a base, has fond memories of sharing a cigar while deployed in the middle of nowhere. So, CFW’s work in support of troop unity and mental health is fantastic.”
Presented in a Toro format (6 inches, 50 ring gauge), the brand offers its regular lines: Hamilton Candela, Franklin Connecticut, Douglass Habano, Roosevelt Maduro, and the Signature Dual Wrap featuring a Mexican San Andrés and Connecticut barber-pole wrapper.
