The project that began as an idea between a pair of friends who met at a soccer field while watching their daughters play today represents a growing brand and company that is adding new members to its structure, as well as a couple of new lines to its catalog.
Just a year ago, the original Friend’s Cigars team was walking the aisles of the PCA Trade Show. Enchanted by the sheer magnitude of the event, they decided to join this year as exhibitors, accompanied by a full team of collaborators that includes Ike McGee, Commercial Director, and Lynn Bush, Marketing Director.
They took advantage of the stage to present their new FC Platinum line, a box-pressed Toro format cigar (6 inches, 54 ring gauge) featuring an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, an Indonesian binder, and Dominican filler: “an elegant piece, adorned with a silver band.”
According to Edwin Debiew and Corey Sneed, founding partners of the brand, this cigar was designed with a medium-to-full strength profile to deliver earthy and spicy notes, along with a subtle sweetness enhanced by medio tiempo leaves.s
