At the request of aficionados, for this 2026 PDR Cigars decided to bring back a couple of cigars that enjoyed a resounding success more than a decade ago, thus taking a step back in time with a touch of distinction that will revitalize the brand’s catalog.
In an interview during the most recent edition of the PCA Trade Show, Abraham Flores presented the AFR 75, a vintage cigar that has returned in a special 10-count box presentation in the Sublime, Edmundo, and Inmenso vitolas, featuring Mexican San Andrés Claro and Maduro wrappers.
“This is a cigar that I introduced in 2013 and it was very successful for us. A well-aged, balanced tobacco, with a medium-to-full strength profile,” Abe detailed.
Likewise, the Small Batch Reserve was launched, swapping the previous Cubra wrapper for a renewed Ecuadorian Habano and a Pennsylvania Broadleaf Maduro wrapper. Additionally, El Vinyet and El Criollito were introduced in aluminum tubes featuring an Infante vitola (4.5 inches, 54 ring gauge); although originally destined for the European market, they will be available in shops and lounges across the United States this year.
