Starting in the second half of November 2024, Casa Turrent welcomed Ricardo Carioni to its corporate structure as the Director of Business Development. In this role, he will play a crucial part in the vision and strategic plans of the Turrent family to grow and scale within the market.
Carioni will work to strengthen and build new partnerships that will aid in the development of Casa Turrent’s product range, leading new projects to enhance the quality, variety, and efficiency of the products the company offers worldwide, while promoting sustainable growth in key areas through innovative initiatives.
Ricardo Carioni’s focus will be on the U.S. market, with plans to expand to other regions. Currently, the Mexican brand sells its cigars in 80 countries around the world.
Before joining Casa Turrent, Carioni served as the Chief Operating Officer at Tor Imports in the UK and as the CEO of Gesinta in Spain. He is also a co-founder of The Cigar Academy, an educational initiative with the mission of safeguarding, nurturing, and spreading the artisanal heritage and traditional knowledge of the premium tobacco industry.
