In a press release, the renowned cigar company JRE Tobacco Co. announced the official appointment of Entre Humos LLC as its official distributor and representative for both domestic and duty-free markets in Puerto Rico.
Founded by the Eiroa family—one of the most respected dynasties in the premium tobacco industry—JRE Tobacco Co. has distinguished itself through its commitment to traditional cultivation and manufacturing methods, as well as the preservation and development of authentic Honduran-grown Corojo tobacco.
According to the released statement, the Eiroa family announced that under the terms of the agreement, its brands—Aladino, Tatascan, Gorbusto, and House Blends—will fall under the official representation of Entre Humos in Puerto Rico.
Meanwhile, commercial management, distribution, and logistics for these products will be led by the company’s wholesale division, Cigars Island, ensuring that retailers and cigar lounge owners across the island have direct, consistent, and reliable access to these acclaimed lines.
The agreement was formalized by Vivian F. Eiroa, Owner/General Manager of JRE Tobacco Co., and Candido Alfonso, Founder of Entre Humos LLC. This strategic alliance strengthens the presence of the Eiroa family legacy and its iconic Corojo and Cameroon tobacco in Puerto Rico, ensuring stable availability and proper representation in the local market.
