San Jorge Cigars: Cuban Tradition

Carlos Wild is a producer with Cuban roots, whose mother worked as a cigar roller in the major companies of Ybor City, Florida, that forged American tobacco culture. This heritage bore fruit and is deeply present in San Jorge Cigars.

According to Carlos, all of the brand’s lines emulate the Cuban tradition that migrated from the island toward Nicaragua and Florida, as was the case with his mother, who starting in the 1950s worked within the operations of Partagás, J.C. Newman, and Caín-8, among other factories.

Growing up “among tobacco bales,” he learned the craft and currently develops his own blends using Nicaraguan tobaccos, finished with Mexican San Andrés and Connecticut wrappers, to deliver pleasant aromas, full strength, and great flavor.

Marking his first time attending the PCA Trade Show, Carlos feels satisfied with the experience and the results achieved. San Jorge Cigars can be found on their website sanjorgecigars.com, on Instagram as sanjorgecigars, and likewise on Facebook.
