This year, Drunk Chicken Cigars revamps itself once again, introducing two new lines to its regular production catalog alongside an elegant new gold-toned cigar band, adding The Mother Clucker Maduro and Living the Dream Connecticut.
The Mother Clucker Maduro is a cigar crafted with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, which brings slightly trendier, earthier notes to the blend of the original Habano-wrapped line while maintaining its signature peppery spice.
On the other hand, the Living the Dream Connecticut is a smooth, mild-profile cigar –something the brand had never offered before– inspired by its original Habano-wrapped counterpart but toned down to satisfy the demands of new markets.
According to Desiree Sylver, founder of the brand, the redesign of the bands comes in response to regulatory guidelines instituted by the United States government, which prohibit the use of cartoon imagery on products exclusively intended for adults; a challenge that was embraced as an opportunity to inject elegance into the brand.
